Economic Development

PES is a strong supporter of Giles County's economic development.  Local utilities can only grow when the communities they serve grow and prosper.  Therefore, PES understands that what is good for Giles County is good for PES.

Pulaski and Giles County enjoy progressive leadership that is committed to supporting the business community.  This focus on business success is demonstrated by the investments made in our local industrial parks, the support of our vibrant retail businesses and a willingness to think creatively to consider new ideas and initiatives.

The Pulaski/Giles County Economic Development Commission provides interested businesses with information and resources that can support a business relocation or expansion within Giles County.  Also, the Giles County Chamber of Commerce is always prepared to support the local business community.   These organizations exist to support business and encourage Giles County's development.

Also, the Tennessee Valley Authority provides award-winning economic development assistance to businesses interested in moving to the Tennessee Valley.  The Middle Tennessee Industrial Development Association is specifically tasked with supporting industrial growth in Middle Tennessee.  Giles County's industrial parks have been certified "Deal Ready" by MTIDA's team of experts.
