Planned Maintenance Outage
On March 12, PES Energize experienced a massive outage to the core network causing an interruption to all cable, internet, and phone services. At that time, a temporary replacement was implemented to mitigate the outage and reduce outage times. We now have the permanent piece of equipment in hand ready to be installed. In order to install the new equipment, we will need to uninstall the current fix causing an outage to our Energize services.
The maintenance has been schedule for Wednesday, June 24 from 11:00 pm to 5:00 am. Interruption to the cable, phone, and internet service will occur for up to 2 hours during this time frame. All Energize customers will be impacted at some point.
While we have the system down, the IT Department will be adding redundancy to the network to prevent future outages should a device fail, by doing so this will increase the reliability of our services.
We understand it’s never a good time to have an outage, therefore we try to select days and times that we hope will have minimal impact to our customers and local businesses. If you experience are still experiencing an outage outside of the allotted time, please give us a call at 931-363-2522.
