A Message from the CEO
Dear Team and Community,
I want to extend my gratitude to everyone who played a crucial role in our storm restoration efforts, especially during these past couple of days.
First, I want to express my appreciation to Delta Services for their assistance throughout the restoration process. Their dedication in replacing broken poles and damaged lines has been instrumental in bringing relief to our community. Today, they continue their efforts to restore power to the remaining customers in the Case Road area, demonstrating their commitment to service.
A special acknowledgment goes out to Lawrenceburg Utility System (LUS) for generously lending us their specialized equipment and skilled crew. Their support in restoring lines to a unique situation was pivotal, directly benefiting over 5,000 customers. We are truly grateful for their collaboration during this challenging period.
I also want to recognize the invaluable contribution of the PES board members and volunteers who manned the phone lines, providing support and assistance to our staff and customers. Your dedication and selflessness have not gone unnoticed, and I commend each one of you for your efforts.
To our entire PES team, I am continuously inspired by your resilience and unity in times of adversity. Your commitment to serving our community exemplifies the true spirit of teamwork, and I am proud to lead such a dedicated group of individuals.
Lastly, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our customers for your patience, understanding, and support throughout this period. We are deeply appreciative of your understanding as we worked tirelessly to restore services.
As we continue to navigate through the aftermath of the storm, our thoughts and prayers are with those who have lost homes and sustained injuries. We wish them a speedy recovery and stand ready to offer support needed during this difficult time.
Once again, thank you to each and every one of you for your dedication, resilience, and commitment to serving our community.
Warm regards,
Scott Newton CEO, PES
