PES Energize Brings Big Equipment to Touch-A-Truck

PES Energize was excited to participate in Touch-A-Truck, a community event designed to give children the opportunity to see, explore, and learn about the vehicles and equipment that help keep our community moving.

Our team brought several pieces of equipment for kids to see up close, including a bucket truck, skid steer, right-of-way equipment, and our Ford Mustang Mach-E electric vehicle. From big utility equipment to electric transportation, there was plenty for kids and families to discover.

Events like Touch-A-Truck give children a hands-on look at the different types of equipment used by local organizations and businesses every day. For PES Energize, it was also a great opportunity to introduce young community members to the work that goes on behind the scenes to provide reliable electric service and maintain the infrastructure throughout our service area.

Our team enjoyed talking with families, answering questions, and seeing the excitement on the kids’ faces as they explored the equipment. We especially enjoyed showing how some of the vehicles and tools our employees use play an important role in keeping our community connected and powered.
