The 11th Annual Public Power Day of Giving was celebrated Friday, June 15. The day before APPA (American Public Power) kicks off their National Conference, they ask public power utilities across the United States to join them by volunteering with local service organizations. This joint effort makes a positive impact in the communities served. A group of PES employees along with President/CEO Richard Kelley and family, representatives from TVA and Second Harvest Mobile Food Pantry worked alongside Temple of Praise Church to distribute food goods to members of our community.

A semi-trailer truck of food was sorted and distributed approximately 100 Giles County families.
