PES energized the first new transformer at the IP South substation on August 30. Industrial Park South, along with some customers previously fed from Primary Sub, located on Highway 31 south in Pulaski, were transferred to the new transformer on September 4. This transfer included customers located on Highways 31S and 64E, Tarpley Shop, Bunker Hill, Hicks Cut, and Crescent View Roads. The second transformer is scheduled to be installed before the end of September. Director of Operations Kirby Parr anticipates the project to be finished by the end of October.
