PES is celebrating Public Power Week along with more than 2,000 other community-owned not-for-profit electric utilities that collectively provides electricity to more than 48 million Americans. Reliable, safe, affordable electricity is what public power is about and PES strives to deliver those qualities year-round in addition to being apart of the community.

Pulaski Electric System and TVA have worked together for more than 80 years to build a better quality of life for our community. Today, we continue to partner and invest in technologies, such as AMI and Smarthub, that keeps your power reliable, the environment healthy and our community thriving. In addition to investments in technology, our employees thrive to stay up-to-date in their respective fields by continuing their training and education. We live in an ever changing world, so one cannot sit ideal. Contributing to the quality of life in our community is both our responsibility and a privilege. From brewing that first cup of coffee to reading bedtime stories at night, we’re there constantly powering your life.

We live, work, and play here, you see us at church, the ball fields, and the grocery stores. Because we live here and have a vest interest in our community, we strive to see it grow and flourish. We work with partners to attract businesses that bring jobs and opportunities to Giles County. Our daily work is delivering power to you, but our employees also volunteer tons of hours with the community and school groups. TVA and PES are truly “powered by people you know.” Our commitment is to the communities we serve, helping them to be great places to live, work, and raise a family.
